Utilities are becoming software operators with very expensive hardware. We build the data platforms, security controls and reporting systems that let them run a more distributed grid, meet a stricter security regime and account for their emissions.

What is changing

The grid is being digitised and regulated at the same time.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has deployed more than two million smart meters and is investing AED 7 billion in its smart-grid programme to 2035, while Dubai's clean-energy share heads from 21.5% today towards 36% by 2030. The UAE's updated Energy Strategy 2050 foresees AED 150 to 200 billion of investment by 2030, much of it in grids, storage and digitalisation. Every one of those assets produces data that has to be collected, secured and acted on.

In Europe the security regime has hardened: Denmark's act on security and preparedness in the energy sector, implementing both NIS2 and the Critical Entities Resilience Directive, has applied since March 2025. Sustainability reporting has been reshaped by the 2026 Omnibus directive, which narrows CSRD scope to the largest companies but leaves them, including most utilities, with rigorous ESRS-based disclosure obligations.

    Availability comes first in operational technology. We design security controls that protect the grid without ever becoming the reason it went down.

  • Every figure has a source

    A reported emission or a billed kilowatt-hour must trace back to a meter, an invoice or a documented factor. We build that trace into the data model.
