We build the systems between the roadside sensor and the control-room decision: detection, classification, counting, incident detection and control. Our own ITS platform was engineered for exactly this, and the same team delivers the workforce systems behind driver networks.
What is changing
Road authorities are instrumenting entire networks.
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority is extending intelligent traffic systems from 60% to 100% of the emirate's main road network by 2026, taking coverage from 480 to 710 kilometres and adding Cooperative ITS to a network that already includes hundreds of cameras, counting devices and variable message signs. The RTA reports a 20% reduction in travel time and a 63% improvement in incident detection since the system went live in 2020. Comparable programmes are under way across the Gulf.
In Europe the revised ITS Directive (EU) 2023/2661, transposed by December 2025, obliges road operators to publish key traffic and infrastructure data in machine-readable form through national access points, and service providers to use it. Traffic data is no longer an internal by-product; it is a regulated public dataset, and the systems that produce it must be reliable enough to publish.

Numbers you can publish
A count is only useful if it survives an audit. We validate detection against ground truth and document the accuracy per sensor, lane and condition.
Safety case before feature
Anything that changes a signal or a speed limit is designed with fail-safe states, operator override and evidence, before it is designed for convenience.
Roadside is hostile
Heat, dust, power loss and connectivity gaps are normal conditions, not exceptions. Edge processing, buffering and remote management are built in.
