What is changing

Identity is becoming infrastructure, on both sides of the map.

Europe is entering the wallet era. Regulation (EU) 2024/1183, the eIDAS 2.0 revision, requires every member state to offer a certified EU Digital Identity Wallet by the end of 2026. For any organisation that authenticates citizens or customers, this changes the integration model: from redirect-based login to the presentation of signed credentials with selective disclosure, over protocols such as OpenID for Verifiable Credentials. At the same time NIS2 has made cyber security a management responsibility with personal accountability, and Denmark's implementation has been in force since July 2025.

The Gulf already runs some of the most widely used national digital identities in the world. UAE PASS serves more than 12 million users across 15,000 services, Saudi Arabia ranks second in the World Bank's GovTech Maturity Index, and both are now moving from digital services to AI-operated ones. The opportunity, and the risk, sits in the same place: systems that millions depend on daily, built and changed quickly, under public scrutiny.

Wallet and eID integration

Relying-party integration for the EU Digital Identity Wallet under the Architecture Reference Framework, national eID schemes such as MitID, broker and IdP integration, assurance levels, session security and the accessibility obligations that come with public services.

NIS2 and security governance

Gap analysis against the national NIS2 act, implementation of technical and organisational controls, incident-reporting procedures within the statutory deadlines, and reporting that lets management discharge its personal responsibility.

Citizen services and authority integrations

Case handling and self-service platforms, and the integrations behind them: tax authority reporting, payroll reporting, registries and accounting systems, built so that a change in one authority's interface does not break a citizen's service.

Workforce systems for public bodies

Onboarding and payment of large freelance workforces such as interpreters and drivers, working-time registration under the 2024 Danish requirement, and procurement with the thresholds and documentation public buyers must observe.

    Public digital services must work for everyone. We build to WCAG from the first component and test with assistive technology before launch, not after a complaint.

    Who did what, when, on whose authority. Every citizen-facing system we build can answer that question for any transaction, because sooner or later someone will ask.

  • Assurance levels drive the design

    An identity claim is only as strong as the weakest step behind it. We design authentication, session and signing flows around the assurance level the service actually needs.

  • Sovereignty and residency by design

    Where data lives and who can reach it is decided in the architecture, documented, and enforced by the platform, not by policy alone.
